“The information I receive gives me a lot of insight on how to be a good parent”

[What I like most about Head Start is] the teachers, the fact that they are teaching my child so much. I love the [UVM Kiddie CATs] program to help get our children moving. I love the free, healthy meals, my child has tried so many new things / different ways to eat things since starting there. I love that they worked with my daughter on potty training. I love how we have a family connection person.
Over the years, CVOEO's dedication to nurturing young minds has been invaluable to our family, and we are truly grateful for the positive impact it has had on [our child’s] development. The commitment and care demonstrated by the entire team have not gone unnoticed, and we feel fortunate to have been a part of such a remarkable program. Once again, we extend our sincerest gratitude to . . . the entire team for the continuous support and dedication you have shown to our family and countless others. Your efforts have made a significant difference in our lives, and we will forever be grateful.

Do you enjoy spending time with young children? Come volunteer in one of our diverse early learning classrooms. Volunteers help to enhance educational experiences and serve as positive role models to our youngest learners.
Parents come together for Local Parent Committee meetings to talk about their children, Head Start curriculum and activities, community issues, and family issues. Parents bring to these meetings their knowledge of their own children and the needs of their families, and parents work together to make the Head Start program successful for children and families, to support each other, and to socialize and build community.
Your tax-deductable donation supports the continued development of a full array of high quality early education, health, parenting, family service supports, and services to children with special needs.
