Collaborative Partnerships
It Takes A Village…
Champlain Valley Head Start works with a variety of organizations throughout northwest Vermont, and statewide, to provide high quality services to children and families. CVHS has two primary types of collaborative partnerships:
- Partnerships with state or local agencies which specialize in services which can benefit children and families (example: the Vermont Department of Health); and
- Partnerships with schools and child care programs which provide infant/toddler care or preschool programs.
CVHS collaborative partnerships with schools and child care programs adhere to Federal Head Start Performance Standards as well as State of Vermont Early Childhood Program Licensing Regulations, and assure the highest quality services for children and families.
